We Now Return to Our Regularly Scheduled Programming

Hello readers! It’s been a while since I’ve posted, but the dry spell is finally over. This week I’ll return to The Cluttered Desk to spread my writerly vibes and appreciation for sci-fi to the world.

Things are finally settling down again for me. In the time I was away from the blog, I moved (again) back into the Bay Area, and took a whirlwind vacation to several different areas of California. On top of my regular workload, it became difficult to keep up regular posts on the blog, so I decided to concentrate on getting everything else done first. Even though the move was a bit grueling, the bright side of this is that I now have a much shorter commute every day, and therefore have much more time to spend on the blog! I’m also back in the neighborhood of one of my favorite coffee shops, which I assure you, had absolutely nothing to do with my reasons for moving (or did it?).

On the writing front, there isn’t much to report. Sadly, I haven’t done any writing in the past 2 months, and I haven’t had any responses from the agents I’ve queried. So nothing has really changed since my last update, but I’m ready to continue working on getting Deathless published.

Also, I’ve been doing a lot of planning in my time away, and I look forward to sharing some new details with you all over the coming weeks. Look out for updates on my querying process, new writing projects (or maybe some that aren’t writing), some pretty significant Science Saturdays, and maybe even a contest or two in the coming months.
